Greetings Friends,
Let me assume that you are visiting this link because you are interested
in the fulfillment of prophecy.
Almost every Christian faith believes that we are in the last days. One
reason for believing this may be due to the rapid fulfillment of
prophetic events. These prophetic events may include such things as the
frequency of wars, earthquakes, erratic weather patterns, etc. An
increase in the frequency of these events certainly is mentioned in the
scriptures as a sign of the soon return of Jesus Christ.
There is however another less frequently mentioned sign of the end in
the teachings of Jesus Christ. Even though this sign may be the lest
mentioned and most misunderstood of all Bible signs, it is the most
powerful indicator that the last days have arrived.
The sign of which I am speaking is found in the Bible in Matthew 24:14.
This scripture concerns the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached around
the world and into every nation, just before the end. To clearly
understand the impact of this scripture it needs to be read in the
complete context of the scripture’s where it is found.
Let’s read MATTHEW 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall
the end come. When I read this scripture I am prompted to ask myself
what gospel, and what kingdom is Jesus speaking of. To find the answer
to this question one need only to read the scriptures just prior to, and
after this one.
Remember, in this passage of scripture Jesus is answering the questions
His disciples have asked Him. These are common questions most ages and
faiths’ deal with. When will the end of time come? A student of the
scriptures will know that Jesus Christ is teaching His doctrine in
Matthew 24 in agreement with the revelation which will be given
concerning the Seven Seals found in the Book of The Revelation of Jesus
Christ.
Verse 14 comes immediately after Jesus gives the revelation of the Fifth
Seal to the disciples, and before He gives the revelation of the Sixth
Seal. In studying the Revelation of the Seven Seals as preached by
Brother William Branham one discovers the Fifth Seal deals with the Jews
and the time of World War Two. Of course the Sixth Seal deals with the
period of time known as The Great Tribulation period.
Now notice what Jesus Christ said. When this Gospel of the Kingdom is
preached the end will come. The Sixth Seal deals with the 144,000 Jews
in the tribulation. We know the Sixth Seal has nothing to do with the
Gentile Bride. Therefore, before the tribulation comes, the Revelation
of the Seven Seals (The Revelation of Jesus Christ) will be preached to
the last Gentile Seed of God.
Now recall where the message of the Gentile Bride began to be preached.
We know that Peter was chosen to deliver the Gospel Message to the
Gentiles at the house of Cornelius. This is however prior to the
beginning of the dispensation known as the church ages found in the book
of Revelation chapters 2 and 3. The age of the Gentile church began with
the Apostle Paul establishing a church at Ephesus. This is what we know
as the first church age. There are seven of them mentioned in the Book
of Revelation. Each of them is located in Asia Minor. The area where
each of those churches was founded is known as Turkey.
It is wonderful news to know the Revelation of Jesus Christ is once
again being preached where the church ages began. In other words, as
Jesus Christ said And THIS GOSPEL of the Kingdom shall be preached . . .
